Colin completed an Engineering apprenticeship in the early 1960's at 'deHavillands' in the United Kingdom. He went on to become Senior Illustrator at 'Rolls Royce', Leavesden UK, and was responsible for creating many of the marvellous full colour cutaways of the engines designed and built by the company.
In search of a better life, Colin emigrated to Australia. He was the Chief Illustrator at 'Hawker de Havilland Ltd.' Bankstown Australia. He was responsible for the production of artwork associated with promoting the company world wide, the production of Technical Manuals and all other specialised illustrations.

Colin is a member of the 'Australian Society of Aviation Artists' (ASAA) & Artist Friend of the 'Guild of Aviation Artists' of The United Kingdom.
In 2008, Colin experienced a Sea Change and moved to Queensland's Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Colin is in high demand for commission work. Apart from cutaway drawings, he has produced many excellent acrylic and oil paintings.
